Ohio Auctioneers Association 41st Annual Bid Call Contest
COLUMBUS, Ohio (August 4, 2009) - The 41st Annual Ohio State Fair Bid Call Contest took place on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the Showplace Pavilion at the Ohio State Fair from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The contest consisted of two divisions, Senior and Junior, with 34 total entrants competing against each other. The winners from the Senior division were 1st PLACE - CURT YODER of Kaufman Realty & Auctions in Sugarcreek OH; 2nd place, Jerry Hall of West Farmington, Ohio; and 3rd place, Darren Bok of Hicksville, Ohio. The Junior division winners were 1st place, Seth Andrews of Wooster, OH; 2nd place, Andrew Korb of Oxford, Ohio; and 3rd place, Andrew Yoder, Jr. of Millersburg, Ohio.
Over $1,600.00 was raised from the contest with the proceeds going to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
The OAA Bid Call Contest is sponsored by the Ohio Auctioneers Commission and the Ohio Auctioneers Association.
