Les had remarkable knowledge of early gunsmithing and would be called upon to help identify and detail unique historical items over the years. This collection represents decades of accumulating the very best early guns in the Ohio area. Many times he would buy one, only to find a better, rarer or unique gun from the same gunsmith and would continually upgrade. So we can confidently say this is some of the very best of each of the gunsmiths represented in this collection.
